Kaitlyn Raymundo - Setting specialist

Coaching Experience:

Kaitlyn Raymundo has been an assistant at United Volleyball Club since 2014. She has assisted at numerous clinics and practices for girls ages 11-18. She began as a volunteer coach for middle school girls, but has since gained experience and specialized particularly in setting. Kaitlyn has also coached other sports, including soccer, basketball, and baseball. In 2016, she assisted the United 14 Black in their winning season.

Playing Experience:

Kaitlyn began playing volleyball at age 12 with Saddleback Valley Volleyball Club (2009-2011), playing each position before becoming a setter once under the instruction of United founder and owner, Evren Tanriverdi. She played with him at TCA (2011-2013)  before joining United’s first teams when she was a junior in high school, where she remained until graduation in 2015. She was a four-year varsity member of Northwood High School’s women’s team, earning Coach’s Awards for her efforts during both her freshman and senior seasons. Kaitlyn is currently entering her junior collegiate season as Chapman University’s setter. In 2016, she was awarded a spot on the SCIAC Conference’s Sportsmanship Team and this year helped lead the team to the conference tournament. She hopes to achieve continued success next season as a senior with a veteran squad.
