Samuel Cibrian - DIRECTOR
Samuel Cibrian graduated from the University of Mexico specializing in sport performance. Samuel has over 25 years of international volleyball coaching experience. Samuel joins United Volleyball Club, bringing elite credential of coaching FIVB Level III (the highest recognized coaching level worldwide). Samuel’s most recent Southern California coaching experience was at TCA where he helped lead the 18s to an Open National Championship amongst other successful teams. Samuel and Evren grew TCA’s South Orange County branch guiding multiple teams high in the gold bracket and to JO’s. In the past few years Sam has coached at Monterrey Tech which has been one of top University teams in the country the past three years.

Coach Sam is a former Head Coach of the Mexican National Team. During his time with the National team he coached the Men’s and Women’s teams in the largest international tournaments around the world including NORCECA, Pan American Cup, and the World Championships. His international coaching experience does not stop there. Sam also belongs to the European College of Sport Sciences (ECSS) where he graduated and earned his physical training license to coach professional soccer. Samuel has coached professional soccer in the Netherlands, Mexico, and South America.
Samuel is an elite addition to the United VC staff and will train with multiple teams. Samuel is a true passionate teacher of the sport and will coach all United VC players in the program no matter what their skill level is!
